FEATURED DESIGNER: Olga Vlasova

Let me introduce myself: my name is Olga, I'm from Ukraine but living in USA nowadays. I've always had this crazy urge to create - anything! I graduated from an art school but then decided to acquire a "serious" profession, got a Master's degree in languages and spent a few years in an office doing very serious Russian-English translations in coal mining industry. (Ugh!)

I had to take a break from work when I moved to USA and married a man with a crazy working schedule and 2 sons who were 9 and 11 years old at that time. In a couple years we also had a daughter. My elder step son is almost 20 now and is in the Navy. The younger one is in high school. My daughter is in kindergarten. I should probably be looking for another boring office job now... But you know what - I kinda have this crazy hope that all my creative aspirations that have sneaked back into my life over the years will amount to something "serious" but less boring than coal mining and processing. :)
